Office of Information Security

The ultimate responsibility of the Office of Information Security (OIS) is protecting Penn State‚Äôs computer and network resources. This objective is achievable only through OIS’s dedication to the leadership of data stewardship efforts at the University.

OIS’s mission is to “drive digital innovation” across Penn State campuses and research centers by protecting against cyber threats, developing excellent operational credibility and integrity, engaging stakeholders across the University to increase cyber security awareness, and envisioning/driving forward the future of IT Security at Penn State. All of this is made possible by OIS’s ability to put resources right at the fingertips of users and operators.
